Welcome to Parchment. We're offering this service to make ordering transcripts and records easier for you. It's also more efficient for your school, and will deliver your transcripts to the colleges you choose in the format they prefer. Per District policy and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) student records are only available to those who have authorization from the student or parent, guardian, or responsible person if the student is less than 18 years of age. If the student is 18 years of age or older, school records will not be released to a parent, guardian, or responsible person without the student’s written consent. All requests for student records/information will be submitted and paid for online. Phone, email, paper and fax requests are not accepted. Legal Subpoenas/Court Orders for student records must be submitted to records@atlanta.k12.ga.us with the subject line of: APS Subpoena or delivered in-person to the the APS Student & Family Resource Hub. Records requests will be processed during normal business hours, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm. Student records requested for pick up will be discarded after 60 days and a new request must be submitted. The office will be closed for the following dates each year.
