Welcome to Parchment. We're offering this service to make ordering transcripts and diplomas easier for you. It's also more efficient for your school, and we'll deliver your transcripts to the colleges you choose in the format they prefer.
Transcripts for University College or Brandman University students who attended after Summer 2010 are ordered through the University of Massachusetts Global website. Please visit the University of Massachusetts Global transcript request page for more information.
Diplomas for University College or Brandman University students whose catalog years were 2010/2011 catalog or later or a BBA, MBA, or MPA degree conferred should contact diploma@umassglobal.edu for duplicate diplomas/certificates.
Chapman Law School students please order through Law School Portal https://www.chapman.edu/law/student-resources/registrar.aspx
DO NOT order a diploma to be sent to a University or employer for degree verification. If an employer or institution requests degree verification, you can order an official transcript or verification that will state your degree awarded and award date.
No one else can request a replacement diploma for you.
Since the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) was passed in 1974, student records in the United States are protected and kept private. Family members or spouses are not permitted access to your student records; you are the only person who can officially request your academic information. However, if you’re looking to replace the diploma of a deceased alumna or alumnus, you are able to do so if you are the next of kin or the executor of the former student’s estate.
Although the specific requirements will vary according to the university, you’ll most likely need to submit a request with a photocopy of your driver’s license or passport, proof of your relationship to the deceased (such as your birth certificate or mention of your name in the obituary), the student’s death certificate, and a notarized copy of the Letter of Appointment of Executor or Power of Attorney.
Students may select a preferred first name for the diploma, but their last name may not be changed on their diploma without proof of a legal name change. If students legally change their name after graduation, they may submit proper proof of a legal name change to the Office of the University Registrar to officially change their records. Documents can be emailed to conferral@chapman.edu
Questions about this policy or process may be directed to the Office of the University Registrar at conferral@chapman.edu or (714) 997-6701.
International Requests (Additional FedEx Shipping Fees must be paid or order will be cancelled)
